[For the record, I think sometimes Bill O'Reilly (Harvard Grad) is FAR too smart and educated to believe half of the things he spews...But I digress]

The core of Bill O'Reilly's argument is legitimate.  There's no American flags goin up on Hiroshima anytime soon and there's no Japanese flags goin up in Nanking, China (learn about it: WW2) anytime soon either. Does that mean all Americans are mass-killers of Japanese, or all Japanese are rapists and killers? NO. It's the context.  It's just too bad that this argument has gotten enflamed enough in recent months that the issue's a Catch 22, because NOW if they DON'T build the Islamic Center (by the way, there's ALREADY A MOSQUE ON THAT PROPERTY), that's gonna worsen already strained relations with the Muslim world (which has had to swallow two Muslim countries being invaded by hundreds of thousands of American troops in the past decade. NOT building those mosques has the potential of being the preaching point for "American hate of Islam" for countless imams with radical messages used to recruit terrorists, radicals, or whatever you wanna call em today.


There is no simple answer, and no yelling match makes either side look or sound anymore right.
